You can even take still images and save them on your phone or send them as e-mail attachments. Version 4. It is functionally very limited - for example, the playback scheme is difficult if not impossible to get working. The only good feature of the app was live camera preview. Terrible programming! The app is now a piece of useless crap unfortunately.
I m going to try deleting and reloading it but I doubt that will cure anything. I bought the system for security reason and was extremely happy with it. Everyone wanted to know what system I had due to the clarity of the cameras. I have the p nvr system. Well I set up this app on my iPhone's and iPads and it worked flawlessly. Great quality and while not very user friendly, I was able to get around and do what I needed to do view live cameras and view recorded video from the past when I first got the system, I had an iPhone 4s.
I have since upgraded to the 6 plus and while it still works great, the images no longer fill up the screen as they did with the smaller 4s phone. I can easily zoom in on each camera and make it full the screen, but the app should be updated to do this for you.
I have p cameras and a p screen on my phone. It shouldn't be that hard of a fix. So other than the screen issue, I have no other complaints. No more problems. Great system. One important function of this app is the ability to get push notifications on your IOS devices when the surveillance system detects motion on connected cameras. This feature worked well until this last week.
Push notifications no longer work at all, on any of my IOS devices. It seems that the app developer has shut off this functionality recently, because the app has not been updated on the App Store.
Push notifications are important on a product such as this and not having them makes the Q-See surveillance systems much less desirable than competitors such as Lorex, Swann, and Night Owl.
Other than the lack of push notifications, the app works well at viewing live video feeds. Viewing recorded video feeds by time or event are not intuitive, but can be learned and generally work well. Requires iOS 8.

Version 3. The HD version of the Q-See QC view app for the iPad has lots of potential, but right now its functionality is substantially below that of the iPhone app. I have both installed on my iPad and as long as you start the iPhone app in portrait mode there's a half-screen glitch if you don'tfrankly it offers more control options functionality than the iPad HD app.
If all you plan to do is view your existing camera network, then the HD app works fine. But if you want to do any adjustments to the cameras, then it simply doesn't work.
The Chanel Config in settings returns a "system does not support device" message for the native Q-See bullet cameras that come with their systems. I like the look and feel of the app and haven't had any memory errors mentioned by other users.
But, from a functionally perspective in being able to do more than simply view security cam video, this app falls way short.

Good luck! I asked that a few months ago and got two different responses from Q-See Support that never answered the question - they just provide links to already existing download pages. Thanks Brendon. But the next question is, do you have a plan for one? You are still selling QC products, so why would anyone buy one if there won't be an update coming? It's not really a fix though, is it. When did bit processors debut? When did Mac release its first bit OS? It's not like it's a secret that was just sprung on the company.
This was 12 years in the making. We are still looking into this. Sorry for crying wolf. Yes please push to get this working. There's been no update for way too long -- and I can't access my cameras. Does this still work? And does this just shows one camera at a time, or can we view all cameras in a grid view? We need this 64 Bit program. Thanks, HM.
